The owner of a training hall approached us with a request to provide lighting over an octagonal ring intended for mixed martial arts.
The design brief involved developing octagonal light lines with two diameters that would provide adequate brightness over the competition area.
The SIGMA II LED system served as the basis for the project. The structure consists of an aluminum profile enabling the emission of two light distributions: direct (DI) and indirect (IN).
Detail of the luminaire connection. The LED profiles are connected and secured with linear connectors. The shades touch each other, maintaining the minimum distance necessary for proper operation, taking into account the thermal expansion of the material.
The SIGMA II CORNER L135 LED is a module created specifically for this project. The fixture's arms connect at a 135-degree angle, allowing for an octagonal configuration.
The task was completed and the luminaires were installed in the facility.
